TeleHealth Visits Now Available!
At Harlingen Foot and Ankle Center, we believe in making a difference. During these unusual times, we are committed to safely meeting the needs of our patients and communities.
We are proud to offer patients three options for foot and ankle care:
- In-Office: Safely attend an in-office appointment with our doctors; our team diligently practices social distancing and screening protocols, OR
- FAST Clinic: Avoid the ER and help our overworked hospitals! If you have an immediate or urgent foot or ankle problem, call 956-365-3334 and schedule an appointment in our FAST clinic.
- Virtual Care: Have a TeleHealth Visit with your doctor or physical therapist from the comfort of your home using your personal computer (and webcam) or smartphone.

The first step is to call and schedule a TeleHealth visit with your provider.
For many people today, telemedicine is a convenient and effective way to see their healthcare provider. Before beginning your TeleHealth visit, make sure that you:
- Have an active Patient Portal account, with username and password. Contact our call center at 956-365-3334 if you need help with an account.
- Set aside a secure, private location.
To begin your TeleHealth visit, follow these easy steps:
- “ Arrive early ” for your appointment by logging in to your Patient Portal, either on your computer or through the Healow app on your smart phone. If you can’t access the Portal, you can also begin your appointment by clicking the reminder link sent to your email.
- Click “Join TeleVisit” in your patient dashboard (or email reminder).
- Fill out any patient questionnaire and provide the requested personal information.
- Click “Proceed” to check your computer’s speed and ability to support a TeleHealth appointment. If you are using your computer, instead of a smart phone, your computer will need a webcam (most have one!).
- Click “Start TeleVisit” to enter the virtual waiting room.
- Your physician will begin the face-to-face TeleHealth visit and disconnect when the visit ends.
